I'm very sad to learn of DeeDee's passing. My condolences to Rick and her family.
As one of the Cincinnati WHHS "reunion committee", we always had a giggle to share each time we met, beginning in 1984, and continuing through the years. Until the last decade or so, she became my favorite sales rep at Chico's in the Rookwood Shopping Center.
I will always have fond memories memories of her smile, her charm, and her poise.

Dee Dee was a ray of sunshine. Always upbeat, positive and with a smile. She wanted to have fun!  I remember talking with her at our last reunion--she was pressing me for gossip and a good laugh. My heart breaks knowing that she is no longer with us.

Dee Dee was the first death of our GK sisters of '64. We are all grieving for her and for the enormous loss for Ricky '63, her love of 62 years, and her two sons.

May Dee Dee's memory be forever a blessing. A blessing of happiness and joy. That's what she would want.

I'm so sorry to learn of Dee Dee's passing. It will be hard for Rick, as we know from experience. Dee Dee grew  up in Paddock Hills, down the street from Ilene Siegel. I recollect once biking there to play kick ball with them in a cul-de-sac. We were about 12 years old. It's painful to think about such a young, cheerful person facing an incurable illness. I'm happy that she enjoyed a lifetime of love. I'm grateful you are keeping our class informed, Gail. As hard as it must feel, it's an act of respect for those we miss. I've often told my family that "we are the rememberers." May Dee Dee always be remembered fondly and with love.
