Goose was my closest friend at WHHS.  I met him in the 5th Grade at Winton Place Elementary as he was smoking a pack of Camels a day back then.  He was a true friend and a "tough" guy who always had your "back". Upon graduation, his grades not being wonderful, he went to OCAS (Ohio College of Applied Science) got his two year degree and then went on to Ohio University and received a degree in electrical engineering.  He took that information and became marketing guru at at an electrical company in Minneapolis and became very successful-his success cut short by a massive heart attack while only 44-I think he was our first classmate to pass on in 1990.  He is missed by me, his wife and his daughter and all whom he befriended.

Goose - what a jokester.  We had more fun telling each other how 'short' we were.  But he was there when you needed a good word (and I did a lot).  I'm happy to read Gene's comments that he had a good career, though it ended way too soon.
