B C was a friend and fellow BOA.  I was fortunate to spend time with Bill and Cynthia at our 2023 reunion.  It was great to reconnect.  I'm sorry he has left us.

It is sad to see how many of our Class has gone on since our reunion.  In our senior year, the Beatle year, Bill, Mark Blocher, Mike Boyer and I called ourselves "The Beatles" and had misadventures almost every weekend.  We were on the Track team and were convinced we were going to go on to do great things.  I truly believed that we did but it was not in Track.

Over the years we would connect almost every time I made it to Cincinnati and always at the reunions.  I have to say that it felt lonely in 2023 without Mark and Mike and it will be even more so in 2026 without Bill.  I still have all of you however, and I look forward to seeing you all then.

Such an impressive obituary for a great guy. Bill was a friend in HS. One year I needed a summer job and he got me an interview with his Dad at Proctor and Gamble in the Coupon Redemption building not far from my home. I did get the job.

The Eagles backfield of John and Bill Compton is now playing catch upstairs. So happy to have had the opportunity to be with both at our class reunions and Lakamps’ stag party. Bill’s father, Justin, was the manager of the P&G facility, in Amberly Village who gave me a summer job allowing me to buy my 65 Mustang! I will miss seeing Bill in his white shirt and blue blazer at Lakamps’ stag party. RIP Bill and John.
